The emma Doctoral Summer School 2025 which took place in Brussels on September 2–5 came to an end. Thank you to the hosts Ivana Kostovska and Tim Raats of imec-SMIT-VUB for the fantastic event!
The Summer School bridged policy and practice with visits to the European Commission, VRT and DPG Media, as well as scholar-led sessions, feedback sessions, and methodology clinics.
We are grateful to all the summer school participants and to the senior media management scholars Leona Achtenhagen (Jönköping International Business School), Castulus Kolo (Macromedia University of Applied Sciences), Tom Evens (Ghent University) and Päivi Maijanen (LUT) for their generous insights that they shared during the event!
